I’m not really sure how its happened, and I’m not really sure I deserve this, but I suddenly and un-expectedly gained a lot of followers recently. I believe I’ve been featured in many youTubers main page feeds and/or the suggested videos from the pages of more popular cancer-related youTubers. Instagram seems to have followed the trend so perhaps people have been clicking through the links?!
I’m really grateful. A lot of social media ‘types’ do a giveaway or something to celebrate milestones this big but I still feel that I don’t have enough followers to do that sort of thing – am I being silly?!
So 1000 followers on instagram as of 13th June-ish and 5000 followers on youTube on July 6th according to TubeBuddy.
By the way, TubeBuddy is an awesome Chrome plugin that makes loads of youTube stuff easier. I use it myself, the free version does loads so you don’t have to upgrade and its just made my youTube life a lot simper yet more optimised – perhaps my youTube subscriber count increase was actually due to the suggestions I implemented?? If you click on my TubeBuddy links I get a small kickback because its an affiliate link – but you pay no more!
